Heavy-Duty Abrasive Rolls for Professional Use

Made from Heavy-Duty Cloth Backing Our abrasive rolls are made from high-quality, heavy-duty cloth backing. This ensures durability and provides an economical replacement for your Performax and Jet 1632 drum sander, as well as other machinery that accepts 3” wide rolls.

High Performance Aluminum Oxide Rolls These rolls are designed for all-purpose sanding, featuring high-performance aluminum oxide. The resin-bonded grain is non-loading, providing extra long sanding life.

Made in the USA Our rolls are crafted in the USA, ensuring superior quality and reliability.

Ideal for Different Grits and Applications

Rougher Grits (60 Grit) Perfect for abrasive planing and dimensioning tasks. These grits are effective for larger-scale sanding projects.

Medium Grits (80, 100 and 120) Ideal for lighter dimensioning projects and general surface preparation. These grits offer a balanced approach to sanding.

Higher Grits (150, 220) for Finishing For optimal results during finishing passes, use higher grits. This ensures a smooth, professional finish on your projects.

Proper Technique for Optimal Results

Maintaining the Right Pressure Exerting the correct amount of pressure is critical. Overpressure can shorten the life of your abrasive wraps, burn the material, or cause issues with your machinery's motor.

Adjusting the Sanding Drum To avoid excessive pressure, turn off your machine. Place the material under the sanding drum and adjust the drum so it contacts the material but can still be rotated by hand. Remove the stock with no further adjustment and continue normal sanding.

Angling Your Stock Feed For optimal sanding performance, consider angling your stock feed through the drum. This reduces loading due to glue lines, promotes more even wear, and reduces motor loads. A slight angle can significantly improve stock removal and finishing quality.

Sanding Misshapen Pieces Always start sanding misshapen stock pieces with the crown side up to prevent tipping or rocking. Once the down is removed, flip the stock and sand the other side. Use extreme caution when sanding bowed, twisted, or imperfect boards.

With these tips and high-quality, durable rolls, you can achieve professional results every time.
